how to book an appointment

Booking your appointment at the Alglist Showroom is designed to be as seamless and luxurious as the experience itself. To begin, simply find a dress you love and click the “Try-On” button or the circular hanger icon instead of adding it to your bag.

*Please note that only "Ready To Ship" items can be reserved, no exceptions.

From there, select your preferred size and color, choose the Albany location, and enter your contact details, back up items, along with your desired date and time. You’ll then be prompted to pay a $50 reservation fee, after which a confirmation email will be sent to secure your spot. The reservation fee is a deposit that applies to each appointment scheduled, not each individual item.

Each appointment allows up to two additional guests, and all visitors must present a government-issued ID upon arrival. Any guest under the age of 18 must be accompanied by someone 18 years or older. No exceptions will be made. Cancellations or reschedules must be made at least 48 hours prior to your appointment to avoid forfeiting your deposit.

Our goal is to ensure every guest feels welcomed, cared for, and immersed in the elevated world of Alglist from the moment they book to the moment they step inside.

terms & conditions - what you should know

To maintain the quality & exclusivity of our gowns, a deposit is required to book an appointment. The deposit is $50 per appointment, not per dress.

  • DEPOSIT: Your $50 deposit secures your appointment and will be applied to your purchase. Please note that this deposit is per appointment, not per item. If no purchase is made, the deposit becomes a non-refundable showroom fee.

  • ITEM RESERVATION: Because our showroom carries a limited range of styles and sizes, all inventory is pulled specifically from our warehouse for your appointment. When booking, you will be asked to select up to 10 items; your top 5 preferred styles and 5 backup options. This will ensure you have the best selection available on the day of your visit. The try-on bag will allow you to select your top five only, on the next step you will be prompted to add additional details. In the booking notes field, please list your 5 backup items in the following format, in order of preference: Dress Name, Color, Size

If your top selected items are in stock, they will be prepared for your appointment. If any item is unavailable, the next available option from your backup list will be provided in its place.

*Please note that only "Ready To Ship" items can be reserved. Additionally, items may sell out prior to your appointment date. Providing complete backup selections ensures we can always have your preferred styles ready.

  • WALK-INS: Walk-Ins are welcome, however not all dresses are available to try-on without securing a reservation.

  • TIMELINESS: No-shows or arrivals 15+ minutes late will be automatically canceled. No-Shows and failure to attend your appointment will result in forfeiture of your deposit. Any future appointments will require a new deposit at the time of booking.

  • RESCHEDULING:  Each appointment may be rescheduled once at no penalty, provided the request is made at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment. Rescheduling requests made within 48 hours will result in forfeiture of your deposit. If an appointment is rescheduled more than once, it will be automatically canceled and the deposit will be forfeited. Please keep in mind that inventory is prepared and transported for every scheduled appointment, regardless of changes.

  • CANCELLATIONS: Cancellations must be submitted at least 48 hours before your appointment to qualify for a deposit refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the appointment are non-refundable. Same-weekend rebooking following a cancellation is not permitted.
